We're still in the hospital, so this post will be quick. Everything went beautifully, and I'm soaking in all of the wonderful support here. Margo Rose was born via c-section at 7:55 AM. She weighed 7 lbs 2 oz and was 19 inches long. Right before we went back for surgery, the Sailor and I guessed weight. I said "7 lbs 6" and he was dead on with "7 lbs 2"! The operating room was full of laughter, tears, and smiles. Every nurse and doctor we encountered went above and beyond our expectations, and we felt completely spoiled from beginning to end. The anxiety I felt leading up to her birth melt away as soon as she cried. All of the stress, and tears, and worry I felt during this pregnancy resulted in a perfect, healthy, happy little doll. The fact that we are blessed with four perfectly healthy, beautiful daughters completely humbles me. God is good, and I feel unworthy of such amazing blessings sometimes. Congratulations! Wow. You look beautiful in that operating room...and the baby is just perfect. She is soooo beautiful. Her name suits her so well, too. Great work.
