We're moving to ....
We're definitely covering all the corners of the country in our Coast Guard travels, although we've successfully avoided the west coast unless you count Hawaii (I do). If we could snap our fingers and stay here with family we would, but we have to move. It's important for our family to get back under one roof, and I can't think of a more appropriate, family friendly place than New England. I'm excited for fresh seafood, sweater weather on beautiful beaches, Cape style homes, trips into Boston, and the opportunity to have the Sailor home on a more regular basis. We've already been working on housing, but it's definitely a challenge in an area full of expensive beach homes and the second highest utility costs in the country. I'm mentally preparing to possibly live on the Coast Guard base again. Either way we'll make it work, because that's what we do! Let the planning begin!

During Jay's picks I was telling him how I wish we had this on our list. SO JEALOUS! Hope you love it!
It looks beautiful there! Congrats.
Ah! You'll love it. When do you move? Hopefully you can find a place (it gets crazy from May-September.) I'm a New Englander and I'm sure that you'll love it here! (I'm in Boston and super jealous of your upcoming Cape life!) -L
Very jealous. Love vacationing in the Cape!
It looks beautiful!
We just left the Cape this past summer after a 4 year tour. Very family friendly and tons of things to do with the kids. New England is beautiful.
Love it! I'm jealous!
These are pictures of some of my favorite places! I'm definitely homesick now :)
I'm so excited for you and your family!! I moved to Sandwich when I was 6 1/2 and we sold our home when I was 27.. I LOVED living and growing up on Cape Cod, there is nothing like it. So if you want to know where the best breakfast places are or shopping or anything... email me christinacbradley@Hotmail.com (yes, I gave you my real, real email - you can check out my facebook and see I'm not crazypants).
But yes, Cape Cod is awesome... its close to Boston but minutes from the beach, its a place where you can have a horse and no neighbors or lots and lots of awesome ones. There are so many fun things to do in the summer and even fun things to do in the winter. congratulations!!
