Happy New Year to everyone! We lay low on NYE, and always have. Even with a babysitting offer, we prefer to order pizza and watch the festivities at home with our kids and some champagne. The Sailor goes back to the ship tomorrow, so we finished up some last minute duties around the house and are spending quality time with each other this evening. We don't make resolutions, but our goal every year is to grow up a little more, be a little healthier, improve our finances, be better parents and better spouses, ya know the usual. I'm optimistic about 2013, especially because of the trials of 2012. We've got a lot of unknowns coming up this year, but it's exciting! I hope everyone has a peaceful, fun evening. And if you're silly brave enough to go out and tackle the overpriced cocktails and drunk drivers, be safe! Cheers!
